Hello there and welcome! Iā€™m Abby (they/them), a makeup fanatic and artist. I was raised in Chicago, IL but currently reside in Philadelphia, PA, where I have been for over five years. I attended Temple University and earned my Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2023. In December 2024, I received my certification from The Makeup Academy of NYC at the Philly Campus.

As a queer, non-binary artist, I prioritize creating an inclusive and open-minded environment. The evolution of the beauty industry over the past couple decades has been significant, and I am dedicated to contributing to this progress by challenging norms and fostering a culture where makeup is accessible to all. Regardless of personal identity or societal perceptions, I aim to assist individuals in achieving their desired looks by empowering them to feel like the work of art that they are.

My background in social work informs my approach to advocacy, allowing me to engage meaningfully with every client. My objective is to ensure that everyone in my chair feels heard, seen, and valued, enhancing their experience and confidence in their own expression.

Art has always played a significant role in my life, beginning with an early passion for painting and drawing. This interest naturally extended into makeup artistry when I stumbled upon the beauty industry on YouTube, which captivated me immensely. My background in painting has significantly shaped my approach to makeup, enhancing my appreciation for color, movement, texture, and intricate details.

Since the age of 8, I have been honing my skills, providing makeup services for homecomings, proms, graduations, parties, and weddings. I am excited to embark on this new chapter in my makeup career and appreciate your consideration in choosing me as your makeup artist.
